Adaptive VSync dynamically turns VSync on and off to maintain a more stable framerate. GeForce GTX video card users can enable Adaptive VSync globally or on a per game basis through the NVIDIA Control Panel when using the latest GeForce drivers. Simply navigate to the section of the Control Panel shown below, and enable the Adaptive VSync option.
Hello RoG Community
I just wanted to ask about vSync setting on Dota 2. What does it do and is it better to have it on or off?
My specs are :
Intel i-5 4690 Quad [3.6Ghz]
nVidia GTX 650
8 GB Ram
Standar MSI motherboard [pretty new model]
And hard drive is a big crap [500 GB]
Win 7 [64 Bit]
Now,while game is passive I get ~120 fps with vSync off, but in fights it drops off steeply.
With vSync on its 75 and in fights it also goes down.
Any suggestions, how to get a consistent fps, even if it's 60 all the time? [Refresh rate is 75[
Thanks,
